JOHN DEAKIN

John began his real estate career with A.E. Lepage in 1980 and quickly became one of the top agents in Quebec. While co-owner of one of the first Remax franchises in Montreal, he realized it was more important to take good care of his clients than it was to manage other agents. John has extensive experience in residential and investment real estate and enjoys introducing clients to the world of real estate, whether it's purchasing or selling their first home, trading up, or venturing into the investment property market. For the past 15 years, John has been a director of Amcal Family Services, an organization dedicated to helping local families in crisis.

NANCY KEMP DEAKIN

Chartered Real Estate Agent

Nancy began her real estate career in 1987 as co-owner of Deakin Realty and applied her previous business experience to real estate, building and maintaining a loyal clientele and successful independent brokerage. Nancy is continuously involved in the Pointe-Claire Village association as well as many other community and charity projects. She remains highly active in local residential and commercial markets as well as in the sale and valuation of small businesses.

JAY DEAKIN, B Comm

Jay joined the family brokerage in 2001 and has sold extensively throughout the West Island and surrounding areas. His experience is complemented by a finance degree from the John Molson School of Business (Concordia), and a post-graduate degree in Real Property Valuation from the Sauder School of Business (UBC). An avid sailor, Jay frequently represents Canada at yachting competitions around the world.

BRIAN KEMP

An agent since 1976, Brian has been a member of Deakin Realty since its inception. Over his 30 year career in real estate, Brian has experienced a variety of market conditions, making him an expert in pricing. Brian's keen sense of market value and gentle sales approach make him an invaluable asset to the team.

DON FIELD, B.B.A, CGA

Business Manager

Don originally worked as support staff for Deakin Realty in 1990, and completed his real estate agent course at that time. Seventeen years later, he has returned, after obtaining degrees in accounting and finance at Bishop's University and his CGA professional accounting designation. Don's business and accounting background is invaluable to the team, the sales support he provides helps uphold the level of quality service that clients have come to expect, and his technological expertise is pushing the firm into new areas of exposure and marketing.

HARRY GREEN

Property Maintenance & Office Support

A valued member of our team since 2002, Harry looks after repairs, maintenance and upkeep on the firm's listings, ensuring that they look and show their best. Many of our clients, who have used Harry's services to prepare their homes for sale, continue to rely on him for years to come. Harry's varied skill set make him indispensable in the day-to-day functions of running an independent brokerage.
